today's gym
Squats - 3 sets of 5 reps at 120 lbs. Overhead Press - 3 sets of 5 reps at 45 lbs. Back extensions - 3 sets of 10 reps at 2.5 lbs
I can move up on squats and overhead press - the latter, only if I buy fractional weights.
sticking at back extensions for one more session.

Hey. It's okay if you didn't do your best today....
I have stretch marks.

Reblog if you do too. Just to prove that it is more normal than what people actually think.

gym yesterday
squats - 3 x 5; 120 lbs bench - 4, 4, 3 (no spotter so didn’t want to push it.) 65 lbs abs: 1 x 12; 20 lbs then didn’t do very well on assisted pull ups.
A little lazy. I’ll work harder monday.
then jogged half a mile this morning - trying to train endurance. My legs can run forever but I get so winded within minutes.

gym yesterday
Completed everything.
Squats: 120 lbs; 3 x 5 Overhead Press: 45; 3 x 5 Back Extensions: —; 3 x 10
I’ll stick with squats one more time because my form almost caved/i need to buy fractional weights. But Press will move up next week.
Tomorrow, shall be doing squats, bench, abs, and pull ups. :)
I WILL go to the gym today.
I WILL go to the gym as soon as the car gets back.
I will do it.

fitsploration:
At the gym, I grabbed a squat rack and started doing my Starting Strength routine:
45x5x2 65x5 95x3 135x2 165x5x3
Then, I proceeded to unrack my weights so I could start my deadlift routine:
45x5x2 135x5 160x3 170x5x3
As I finished my first 170x5, I looked around the gym to see if Jen was…

No-Gym/Weight Work Outs?
Hey guys. The gym is closing for thanksgiving tomorrow through Sunday. My regular routine is starting strength (A - squats 115, bench 65, pullups/chin ups // B - squats 115, press 50, deadlift 145)
Does anyone here know any work outs I can do over the next week in my dorm that don’t require weights that can help keep me on track for this workout for when the gym reopens?
Love to all my...

for the first time in a long time.
i’m full. probably slightly beyond full.
and it’s a good reminder - because it feels SO much better to be contented than full. Like with how i’ve been eating lately, i’m always content - never hungry and always with energy.
That’s so much more comfortable and energizing than this lethargic fullness.

It's my brother's and to-be sister-in-law's last...
So silly. But they’re making the most of it by crazy eating tonight.
i’m sad to say that i took part.
but i’m okay with it. Because one meal does not break the good habits that i’ve formed and I know to make every meal count. :)
I GET TO GO TO THE GYM TOMORROW :D

fit-adi:
According to a new study from the university of California, San Diego, people who eat chocolate more frequently tend to be slimmer than those who indulge less often. One explanation: chocolate contains antioxidants, including epicatechin, which may help boost you metabolism.

Confession:
I used to wish I was just naturally thin (lol right? what?) but now I just want to be as healthy as humanly possible. Able to run for miles, climb mountains without having to stop all the time, lift as much as I can, increase my lung capacity, gobble down green tea and water nonstop, and never be caught spending all day inside.
:)
